Scripture Memorization
In Psalm 119:11 David writes, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." For this challenge, we want you to hide some of God's word in your heart. Memorize one of the following sets of verses or pick you own.

Journal Entry
Journaling is a great way to help us process the things we’re learning and keep a record of what God has done in our lives. For this challenge, write a journal entry about what God has been teaching you since the beginning of the pandemic- and don’t skimp out!

Prayer Challenge
There are many different types of prayers in the Bible. For this challenge, try to incorporate a different type of prayer into your prayers each day for 5 days (1 work week). Write the types of prayer you tried in the response box and write at least one sentence about what type(s) you will keep incorporating into your prayer life! |

Plants from Scraps
The Bible often talks about Growing in our faith and our walk with the Lord. Plants are a great reminder of this idea. Check out the articles below and experiment with growing plants from seeds or stems. If you know of another plant you can grow from scraps, feel free to try that too! Pick at least two plants to try to grow from your leftover produce.Upload a picture of your plants (at least 2) after about one week of growing OR write in the response box what plants you chose to grow and which one you think is the easiest to grow |
Leaf Scientist
An arborist is someone who studies trees. For this challenge, we want you to try to be an arborist-in-training and collect a leaf from at least 5 different kinds of trees. Use the guide below to try to identify what kind of tree it’s from! Upload a picture of your leaves with the name written below OR type in the response box what kind of trees you think the leaves came from. |
Constellation Spotting
Psalm 147:4 says that God, “determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.” For this challenge, learn the names of a few groups of stars, or constellations. Using the following apps on a smartphone or the online guide to constellations, identify at least 3 constellations in the sky where you live.

Maker Challenges
Friendship or Paracord Bracelet
Proverbs 17:17 tells us that, “a friend loves at all times.” A friendship bracelet can be a great reminder of a friend that you have or can be a great reminder to a friend that you’re there for them. For this challenge, try to make a friendship bracelet OR a paracord bracelet*. If you need some help, try following along with one of the videos below. *You can also make a bookmark or keychain if you don't want to make a bracelet! Upload a picture to show us what you made! Graham Cracker Surprise
One of the most requested desserts at camp is what we call Graham Cracker Surprise. There are several variations so that’s why it’s a surprise! If you’d like to try the recipe at home you just need a few things. No cooking required. Make one for you and one to share! Upload a picture of the finished product OR write about which flavors of pudding and frosting you would like best in this dessert in the response box. |
Rock Painting
In Matthew 7:24 it says, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Jesus says that God’s Word is very strong & firm, like the foundation of a house and we are wise if we obey it. Rocks are very hard and remind us of this. For this challenge, try painting a few rocks in a way that reminds you of camp. You could try painting the camp logo or something that you like to do at camp. Upload a picture of your painted rocks when you’re done. Campfire Treat
At Camp Li-Lo-Li, one of the most popular achievements is Open Fire Cooking. For this challenge, make a campfire treat using one of the following two recipes. If you can't make a fire, try the s'mores recipe in the microwave, oven, or over the stove! Be sure to make your s'mores creative by using at least one ingredient that’s different from the traditional recipe. Upload pictures of your campfire treat. If you made s'mores, be sure to type in the response box what flavor combinations you tried! |
Helper Challenges
Card Making
1 Thessalonians 5:11tells us to, "encourage one another and build one another up." For this challenge, pick someone you want to encourage and make a card or postcard to send to them. You can either mail it to them or give it to them in-person.

Random Acts of Kindness
Galatians 5 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. For this challenge, we want you to practice the fruit of kindness by doing random acts of kindness for people in your home, church, or neighborhood. Do at least 3 random acts of kindness (for at least 3 different people) to complete this challenge. Take pictures of your kind acts OR write about what you did in the response box. |
Puzzles with a Partner
If you’ve ever played sports at Camp Li-Lo-Li or been to the Ropes Challenge Course, you know that working together is very important. For this challenge, pick at least one other person and work with them to solve the Camp Li-Lo-Li Break Out Box Puzzles.
