Camp Li-Lo-Li Introductory Ropes
Course Facilitator Training

Each
year scores of campers enjoy some part of our Camp Li-Lo-Li challenge/ropes
course. Whether it’s the team-building challenge course events, the climbing
tower with it’s multiple inside and outside activities, the high ropes events
like Heaven Bound and Leap of Faith or our 1700′ zipline, the common theme is
having fun with other campers as participants learn to grow personally through
challenging experiences.

All
of these activities require trained facilitators who operate the events, give
instruction to participants and help them to have a memorable experience. If
you’re one of the many people who’ve enjoyed the ropes course, perhaps you’d
like to take the next step and become one of our trained facilitators. If
you’re 16 years of age
or older, you’re welcome to join our introductory training session this year
and learn what it’s all about!

Training
for new facilitators will be held Friday, May 9
through Sunday, May 11 at Camp
Li-Lo-Li.
Training will begin at 7:00 PM on May 9th and conclude by 2:00 PM on
May 11th.

The scope of the training will include introduction and practice of
all skills required to facilitate the challenge course, high ropes events,
climbing tower and zipline. Successful completion of the training (along with
NYS required CPR and First Aid certification – not offered the same weekend)
will prepare you to begin working this summer with our experienced staff.

Overnight

accommodations on Friday and Saturday night will be provided by camp at no
charge to trainees, as will 3 meals on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on
Sunday.

Please
contact Mark White by email ([email protected]) as soon as possible if
you’re interested in attending or have further questions.

We
look forward to hearing from you and to

working with you in this exciting area

of our Camp Li-Lo-Li ministry!
