Cabin 25 and 26

Most of you know that several months ago we pulled out six old cabins from the Boys area and began the process of marking out the sites, digging the foundations and having the new footers and pier foundations poured with concrete. We were blessed with a warmer winter until almost Christmas when winter arrived and the work become much more difficult! But the work goes on and much progress has been made.

Cabins 25, 26 and 27 are now closed in with floors, walls and roof. Cabin 23 should be closed in within the next week and we will start work on Cabins 22 and 24. They are moving along well in spite of the weather. Continue to pray for those working in the snow and ice! It is harder and has greater risk, so we pray for protection.

This past weekend Al and AJ McIntee, David Larter and Andy Bennett worked to get the initial electrical work put in so that we are ready to move on to the next stage.

We can’t wait to see the looks on the boys faces this summer as they see their new cabins for the first time! Pray that these many projects will be completed on time!
