As the last of the Pre-teen campers left, we began preparations for the incoming camp – this time all teens! We have a large camp this week, with over 140 campers registered. Many of our teen campers have served as counselors earlier in the year and so it is good to see them join us for fun and fellowship after all their hard work.
Our speaker this week is Jeremy Martinson who is back again after speaking last year. Our theme is Standing Firm in the Faith and Jeremy is using the life of Joshua to develop his lessons. We are excited to see where the Lord will take us this week on our spiritual path! Following the example of the book of Joshua, the counselors were encouraged to go to the creek, collect twelve stones and to stack them as a memorial of what God had done in their lives. This was not to be an altar but a memorial.
Good to see all the fun activities. Hope it isn't too hot for all of you. Love the blog pictures!!
