Every weekend at camp is a great one, right? This past weekend was no exception! Teens began arriving on Friday evening and we had a full house! We had just the right amount of staff to handle our unexpected arrivals as well. Thanks to all our volunteers who took care of counseling, cooking, and cleaning.

Our speaker this weekend was Steve Tempest and he did double duty, both speaking and taking care of the music. Thank you also to the many musicians and helpers that came with Steve. His theme for this camp session was Li-Lo-Li – Life, Love and Light! Each message highlighted one of these aspects of the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pete Snedeker was our director and did a great job of organizing and running the weekend. He even got pied during one of the Choose The Right Door questions! If you look closely, you can still see some cream on his face!

Of course the weather was great, with plenty of snow and sunshine. There were lots of opportunities for tubing on both the big hill and even the front “lawn”!

And of course, what would Teen Winterfest be without our Coffee House! The Lodge was transformed with lights and candles and some wonderful homemade treats. This is always a great time for fellowship, sharing and encouraging one another!

Good friends, good food and plenty of time spent in the Word of God! Plan to join us again next year in January!
