In addition to our horsemanship, camping, archery, ropes, riflery and crafts majors, we now have two new activities to choose from during our Summer Roundup Week (August 11-17) Choose either Photo Scrapbooking or Pinewood Derby.

Photo Scrapbooking

Each day the group will take pictures around the property, have copies made here at camp and then will be shown how to create their own memory scrapbooks.
They will learn how to take pictures, how to crop and print the photos and how to create a memory book of their own. No skill required, but you must have your own camera. The camera should be a digital camera not a cell phone camera. There is a limit of ten campers available for this activity so register early if you are interested in this program!

Pinewood Derby
Many young people take part in the pinewood derby events at Awana and other church programs. Now learn the tricks of the trade with this new program!
Every participant will receive their own car kit. They will learn how to design a car, how to make a car go
fast, (learn about aerodynamics, how and where to add weight, how and where to
place the axles, how to prepare the axles and wheels, what wheel lubes
work best,) how to give a car a nice paint job,  and how to give their car
the finishing touches to make it look top quality!
At the end of the week they will get to race their car
on a full scale 32′ long pinewood derby race track! They will
get to take their cars home at the end of the week and will get a real sense of
accomplishment as well as have lots of fun along the way!  To get the most out of this program, we are limiting it to the first 10 registered campers. Register today and learn these unique  and interesting skills!
These programs will fill up fast so don’t miss out!
